OT: What are you Watching/Listening/Drinking?

most great artists suffer from doubt and some form of impostor syndrome.

I was giving your guy a compliment.

Why in the hell wouldn't that guy just make his own coffee at home?
I get it that it's convenient to just buy coffee but it's amazing to me how few people actually make coffee at home. I have a very hipster set up but you don't need anything fancy really. Some cheap grounds and a $20 device and it'll take 2 minutes to make a cup of coffee that's probably better than Tim Hortons.

Yeah seriously. I live about 100 steps from McDonalds and I very rarely get a coffee there. Better than Tims by a mile too, but my cheapness has a hard time paying $2 for something I can make for pennies at home.

A lower end ~50 dollar burr grinder and a functioning coffee maker. Grind whole bean, put it in to percolate. Superior coffee for 20 cents a cup. Even just the okay bulk bean coffee (Lavazza, Kirklands, etc, etc) is more than good enough for 95% of coffee drinkers.

i actually find it inconvenient to go out for coffee. lineups take longer than my brew time

what puzzles me most is people leaving their house on a Saturday morning and walking a few blocks to a Starbucks to get takeout coffee they bring back home

20 cents per cup for a good whole bean... you getting that stuff directly from Ethiopia and self roasting?
