I found season 1 to be very well done and a realistic and important look into issues teens deal with that were creative and different. I reccommend it and i should have ceased there. 2, 3, and 4 went to meh, bad and astonishing terrible

Ya, amazing show. Monstrous, but also beautiful. Perfectly cast. I wish there was more.

It was a 1 season show. They had no material to go beyond that. I was incredibly annoyed by that Clay guy in season 1. I couldn't go beyond that.

I watched that based on recommendations on this thread. It's fantastic. It looks like a show that was on cable. You are right, so violent. It's one of the very best network shows ina long time.
Mads is one of the best actors in the world. Love him.

season 1 was great

really tackles serious high school issues in a meaningful way

its popularity made them make 3 seasons without source material
 
Halfway through season 5 of the wire. The series was good but I thought it could have been even better.

I liked it a lot. It doesn’t blow you away but the acting and storytelling is on point throughout. Consistently good.
 
If you can deal with subtitles (unless you understand Spanish) I would recommend Narcos: Mexico. Really solid. Great acting.
 
Maybe I will kill myself after watching it. I will send old VHS tapes to all of you of season 4 as to the answer why I did it.
