You can use a pick to select an FA during the draft.

Once the draft is done, all FA's in Fantrax go on waivers and all teams can put in claims at that point. Once waivers is over, you can go ahead and add an FA whenever you want.

The new discussion on a potential new waiver rule brought back up an unresolved issue from last season : the Forbort Situation lol.

The unpunished action of leaving non-eligible players in the minors for an extended amount of time.

It would be great to have some sort of resolution here prior to the start of next season.

Fantrax should be able to warn a player about an illegal roster, which would not collect points for the week. As for punishment for non-compliance, are we talking draft penalties?

The draft penalties were discussed as an option, but I don’t remember what were the reaction to this idea.

With the waiver rule proposal change being voted down we can start the waiver process. Expect waivers to start tonight or tomorrow once we go over everything to make sure all is good.
