I wanted us to sign Panarin and trade the rights to Marner so bad. Might have rendered a Stanley Cup with the assets we would have gotten in return.

They need more fan involvement on ice. Have a competition where people get to participate with the players in certain skills.

I remember the shootout competition they had one year during the intermissions. Each week someone moved on for a chance to win 10K

The NHL should seriously consider the idea of starting their own women's league. Allow existing owners to start up women's franchises, and play in their arenas (perhaps as a matinee on their weekend games). Cross market the hell out of it, and eventually celebrate both on All-Star Weekend.
