All in all, that's a pretty good line-up from top to bottom in terms of potential. The inexperience will likely be the downfall of the Leafs centennial season, but it's going to be a fun experience watching these kids grow.

I'm totally prepare to see this team losing few games on a row but I am expecting to be entertain during that losing streak

Only a few more hours to go ... can't wait.

It sure has been a LOOONG time since the last time I cheered for the team to win ;)

I have to admit that i'm not quite back to being excited to watch the leafs, but at least for the first time in a while i'm legitimately interested.

just please be good, Anderson.

Yeah. Man, I hated it when Burke immediately made him captain. Captain 18 Wheeler.

He usually starts strong, so I won't be surprised if he has a good game tonight.

I still remember our genius coach Ron Wilson explaining the captaincy by talking about how impressed he was that Dion walked into the dressing room and immediately changed the music.

Brilliant stuff.

He can't catch them at this point.
Heh, yep. He'll definitely try. But I'll be surprised if he can get his hands on Willy or Mitch.

If he tries with Matthews, he may get as good as he gives.

Is there really a point to having a temporary "C"? Worst kept secret in MLSE land right now is that it's either Rielly or Matthews at some point in the next few years.

Yeah, this isn't the Buffalo Sabres. I don't want to see any rotating, temporary or short-term captains for this team.

And after what happened with our last captain, the last thing we should do is rush in to handing anyone the job.

Let's take our time, and let the players figure out who the true successor to Mats Sundin will be.

Defensive tire fire? That's what these stats look like. mbow ... haven't had time to look this up. What say ye? This makes 'em look poopy defensively, as I'd mentioned, no?
