Montreal is gonna win this series.

Great racket also-- tuition cost have greatly outpaced the rest of the economy. Lots of debt incurred because it seemed "like the thing to do". Definitely not for everyone. And overrated as you say.
Thats a bit of a red herring in the US: very true for undergrad programs, but there are scholarships, grants & fellowships galore at top schools in the US for all grad programs. The "debt issue" everyone hears about are for undergrads, and those not accepted into top grad programs.

I.e Harvard has an actual full MBA scholarship (including costs to cover room & board) "for person residing in Western Mass whose parents originate from the Peloponnesus region" (peninsula in Southern Greece). I kid u not - so realistically what are the odds someone gets it if they qualify geographically, 95%?

I got out of grad school & was fortunate to have zero debt, as the firm hiring me paid for it all as a condition of me accepting the job, which was the case with 95% of my graduating class.

But getting back to the Habs, it's fools gold to expect Price to "carry u", no goalie can anymore, those days are long gone...

As for Theo vs Price, Theo achieved said feat during the clutch & grab era, the game has radically changed.

I agree about Price -- hence the thread isn't called Price is gonna win this series. As for Harvard, I'd think it'd be worth it just for the connections you make.

My point was on undergrad cost vs reward -- which has become prohibitive considering the cost and competition

Connections are the only reason u go - not only u'r fellow students but the profs who are seriously connected, because in the US it all about alumni hiring (looking out for) alumni, but Cdn education is far superior, I've mentioned it before, but it was shocking to me how the Cdn grad students excelled with relative ease compared to their American counterparts, a lot of that has to do with profs at Ivy League schools are directed to bell curve undergrad mean towards a "B", don't get that watered down crap in Canada.

Apologies for derailing the thread everyone.

It's simple really, but requires commitment, something which has been missing last couple of games: driving to the net & paying the price!

Indirectly, it is about him.

If we have any chance of winning, he needs to be on his game. Anything short of that and we're done.

Sure... but let's not blame him if he allows a goal that's one level below superman status. It's like the people of Gotham City blaming Batman for making a mess of their city after he has battled bad guys in an epic fight to the death.

Nope, you won't hear that from me. You will from Habs-25, though.

Price has already done his job. Stole a game for us & played more than well enough to win 3 others against arguably the best team in the league. Now it's time for the rest of the team, with the exception of a few here & there, to do their part.

That point specifically was the reason I thought we were going to lose against Tampa. This team is a "one and done" team. One shot to the net, rarely ever have someone else close to the net for the rebound. But thankfully for me, who needs second chance opportunities when 15% of your first chance opportunities go in without problem?

Agree. That's why game 4 was frustrating; he seemed vulnerable yet he got the shutout.

I'll be having nightmares about game 4 for a while if we don't win this series. The Bruins played scared in the 3rd period and Bournival with a choke job for the ages.

I wouldn't classify it as a choke job - he's got cement hands, he's not an offensive threat contrary to Rolex's belief, but he's got tremendous work ethic, and will become a very very good 4th liner & elite PK'er in due time IMO.

When u have a clear path to the goal and yet shoot from 40 feet out, I call that choking. He allowed his nerves to get the better of him, 100 percent.

McGuire pointed that out right away, saying Rask didn't even gave to exert any energy to make that save, it would've been a no brainer play for Galchenyuk for example - but there's a difference between the two players offensive processing capability.

And this directly point to our team being bad. So losing can't be point back to Price.
