Toronto Maple Leafs @ San Jose Sharks 10:30pm TSN4

So glad we have Phil Kessel btw. He really has given us a good bang for the buck this season with his 15 game Houdini acts.

They seemed to have dispensed with the tight gaps that period. Bozak line looked like it went back to its old cheating ways. Why Horacheck continues to put Clarkson on the pp, I can't figure for the life of me. The best I can come up with is trying to bump up his points and hope for a trade.

Too bad I can't stay up to watch the end. Hope they pull it off ... need a win.

Some people will prefer Reimer some will prefer Bernier. I think Bernier is better.

Reimer has made some good saves, but the first 2 goals are goals that a good goalie doesn't let in.

Even good goalies let in bad goals. That third one Bernier let in last night he should have had. It happens.

For me:

Bernier = Good goalie
Reimer = Ok goalie.

I don't what it is, but to me it feels that anytime Reimer plays, the team plays worse.

Its not one or the other though.

No, it's precisely the way you said it: the team plays worse. That's not because Riemer is worse or even that he's a bad goalie. The team, as a whole, just floats around.
This game is a perfect example. Our opponent got five times more shots in the second period, but no goals.
Not Riemer's fault.
Wouldn't be Bernier's either.
