Shitty defense and shittier goaltending lost this game. It's an exercise in futility to think they'll make the playoffs. They'll just miss and there will be zero reward. No top pick, no playoffs and the return of Therrien. This is indeed the lost season.
 
Get a freaking goalie!!! Fucale can't be worse than this! Atleast move our junk out for less expensive junk or low pick!

If I was gm, I would have day one traded deharnais and one of plek or Eller. And got a number 1 centre for sure by the second summer.

I think Price is in BC for a native awards thing right now.

Considering Condon was a .925 save % goalie in the AHL last year & Fucale's a dreadful sub-900 save % AHL goalie, I can guarantee you that yes, Fucale can be a lot worse than these two.
 
But maybe his defencemen are worse than ours. For example, Caps call up their ahl goalie for a start. Capitals ahl team is horrible. So the goalies stats would be awful. But when called up, he is playing behind a quality team, thus his stats would be better.

Just be happy we lost. Stop with the if we add 6 good players we'll have a chance mentality. It's depressing. We must tank, it's not even an option anymore.

Exactly. We should be praying for a regulation time loss every game now. Better than winding up in the purgatory of 9th place.

Exactly Fucale isn't ready to take over 50 games to spell 31 this year. We fooked up not having a Talbot or Gustafson type on the cheap with some experience.
