GDT: Leafs @ Islanders, 6 PM

they need to start thinking about pp's like nba teams think of possession. unless there's a golden opp imo nylander and marner (dpeending on which unit is on the ice) needs to touch the puck at least once before a shot. between their vision and slipperiness, they either find the open man or draw in a defender to create a 4 on 3 once htey distribute the puck. we need mroe of that.

none of these wasted shots from kadri, bozak, those stupid jam plays by jvr, dinky wristers or covered slappers from teh point.

When was the last time that JVR jam play worked? Since the last time I saw him score in tight on that move, I've seen him tip 10-15 pucks in from being in front of the net, not beside it.

maybe 3 years ago... it's so dumb.

also, gardiner needs to stop throwing pucks away. 2 pointlessly wild shots there that ruined good cycles/turned pucks back over to nyi
 
and lol at people railing against ben smith. like com eon. he's a borderline nhl'er who replaced holland, another borderline nhl'er. big deal.

i'm more perturbed by mistakes i'm seeing from gardiner, rielly, bozak, jvr.
 
worst thing is JVR looks like he's lost a step. take away his speed and i don't know what he is exactly.
