FI Keepers Money League

Think I'm changing team name to Ravenscliffe Roosters

Is the draft order set in Fantrax - or will it be randomized before the draft?

I'm gonna step out shortly to run a couple of errands. If someone wants to take over a team, post your choice here (Birmingham Bulls or California Golden Seals, rosters listed on Page 4 of this thread) along with your 6 keepers, and send me a pm with the email address you have registered in Fantrax.

That Birmingham team is actually really good for keepers. If we can get 1 person, we can consider picking keepers for the 14th team and trying to fill it later. If not, I guess we'll have to delete both teams and go with 12 for this year.

Is the draft still a go tonight? Personally I wouldn’t allow a CPU team to draft. Takes away players that slide in the draft (value picks) as it always picks top ranked player available

Yep, draft is happening at 9:30pm EST.

I just finished the process of removing the last 2 teams from the league and finalizing keepers. All players listed on the FA screen are available to draft tonight.

I am thinking of removing one bench spot since it's now 12 rather than 14 teams. Anyone think that's a good/bad idea?

thanks man...list the draft order, if ya can... gonna start some draft prepwork...and working on some tradechatter with no knowledge of draft positioning... thanks in advance

Couple of housekeeping items:

In previous years, this league had 3 head to head matchups per week. I noticed that teams only had 2 matchups scheduled this week, for some reason. Maybe due to having 12 teams instead of 14? A couple of other leagues I'm in have instituted a matchup where you play against the league average each week and it seems to work pretty well, so I added that in as the 3rd weekly matchup for all teams.

So each of our teams will play a head-to-head matchup against 2 other teams, plus 1 against the league average score.

I also removed one bench spot, so 5 bench spots instead of 6 means a 16-round draft instead of 17.

Now I'm confused ... was looking at the schedule and noticed that some teams had 2 matchups, and some had 3. I assumed this is because the schedule was generated when there was 14 teams, not 12. I added a matchup against league average but that didn't fix the problem.

So I removed the "league average" matchups, and found a way to regenerate the schedule. Hopefully every team now has 3 matchups this week, let me know if your team has more or less. I'll just leave it as 3 matchups against other teams in the league, rather than using league avg.

I like smaller benches with less teams.
