not sure if Boyd actually played C in the NHL or if he's only been used on the wing to get his nice stats. Keefe choosing to keep Brooks on the taxi squuad makes me think he doesn't see Boyd as a C.

He played center the few times I watched him at least.

EDIT: # of faceoffs tell me he was a C.

A lot of turnovers. The puck was dying when it ended up on Joe's stick. He doesn't know where to put the puck for those two yet. Away from the puck he was fine. Good defensively, good along the boards. But the puck went the other way almost every time he touched it.

And Brodie does look totally useless so far.

Should’ve traded for Kuemper and Kessel, ditched Freddy, passed on Brodie and gone with Lehtonen and Sandin.
