The state lowered the cutoff age for vaccination to 65 and my wife and I got in the queue for a week from today. We have to drive to Eden for it, but whatever works.
Stew Jones. He also happens to be a Cania
Deepak Pasi at NC Heart and Vascular (Rex/UNC) is the best in the area IMO.anyone know a good cardiologist and cardiac surgeon? Might need a bypass or maybe I can just have a stent. Looking for 2nd opinion from another cardiologist. I don't care about their location , west Raleigh , Cary and Apex preferred but I don't mind going to Duke or UNC
They did take our driver licenses, so I suppose they did check our DOB was on or before 1956.do they check ages or is it the honor system? I hope they check. When flu shots were in very short supply I got one for being diabetic. People looked at me funny because I was not old or overweight. They did not ask for proof of diabetes but I brought prescription in case they did.
possible to get more side effects with 2nd dose
Wife and I got ours on Tuesday from Granville Health Services in Oxford (Pfizer-BioNTech). Just by shear chance we opened their website at around 1:30 and there were about 20 slots (one every five minutes) for both Tuesday and Wednesday. Snagged two and within 15 minutes they were all gone.
We drove in just before our time slot. No traffic at all. Pulled up. They checked us in. Drove around to the site for the injections. Took our paper work and they gave us an info sheet for what to do in case we had an adverse reaction. Had the injections within about 30 seconds (didn't feel a thing, unlike the flu shot) then were motioned to a parking spot to wait for 15 minutes while we signed the paperwork and they filled out our cards for the second shot it 3 weeks. After 15 minutes we were on our way. We never left our car. That night and for all of Wednesday we both had sore shoulders at the injection site. Guess something was working.
Kudos to the GHS/EMS staff for such excellent planning and logistics. We both feel like we won the lottery, but surely there's a better way to go about allocating these vacines than leaving it strictly up to chance.

That makes sense, you can’t use a credit card in person either. Some places won’t even accept debit cards.BTW you can buy lottery tickets online now at nc lottery website. Have to use debit card they don't take credit cards.
Buying tickets online is not new. I’ve had a Powerball subscription through the NC Lottery site for years.BTW you can buy lottery tickets online now at nc lottery website. Have to use debit card they don't take credit cards.
