I've seen Justified, GOT, The Boys, and some of Hell on Wheels. Anson Mount was too dreadful for my liking

Well he's also in Discovery and he's going to be captain Pike in the upcoming series too.

Even though I understand why they did it (the actor turning out to be a creep/getting caught up in the #MeToo movement), I was pissed when they killed off Alex in such a random and anti-climactic way. With the four main characters being such a family and so important to the story in the books and the show up to this point, I can't believe they didn't recast the role, rather than going that route.

I guess the upside is that there's going to be even more distinction between the books and the TV show going forward.

To be fair, I don't think Alex has that big of a role in the next parts of the series, so if there's any cast member to off, he's the best one. Re-casting a role in a series is always tough, so probably easier to rewrite things. We'll have to see whether Bobby or Bull takes up more of his role on the ship next season.
 
I am a free agent as well, was going to do Altered Carbon but just not feeling it right now.

How good is Umbrella Academy? Watched the 1st episode, I liked it but wasn't blown away or anything.
 
Yeah Yellowstone is solid

Umbrella Academy takes a bit to get going and is definitely weird but enjoyable.
 
I like Peaky Blinders......it's not perfect but it is enjoyable. Just like sons of anarchy.
You shouldn't like it..but you do and it's okay to like it
 
I'll watch it.

Actually I think I'll watch the director's cut of batman vs superman today to see if it's at all better.
 
I feel like the Snyder Justice League cut has been talked about so much, hyped up so much, that it's going to mostly suck. Like, it might be better than the current version, but I doubt it's going to rejuvenate the DCEU and bring them back to relevance.
 
What I don't get is how did they have a whole second movie's worth of footage in the can. Like what, they decided to shoot two movies for the same money in case the first one was trash?

I think it's about half an hour of new footage but not sure.
