Habs Season Thread: 2023-24 Season

A healthy squad will have a shot sure but the leafs are not going to be easy if they get competent goaltending. They’ve learned how to play with a lead and keep it.
 
Let’s see the great depth that we were sold. They can play with anyone he says.

Price last 25GP in playoffs .933sv % (.936 over last 16GP). The best amongst all NHL goalies with 15GP+

Until proven otherwise I’ll bet on that horse to maintain performance level...which would be a significant margin vs Campbell who’s never had to shoulder playoff pressure and has been giving up lots of weak goals down the stretch and Andersen who’s had an avg-to-mediocre playoff history.

It would be nice for the injured guys to get a game in before the playoffs. Are any of them close? I read maybe Price and Gallagher but have seen nothing more.

You also said Fucale would be Price’s replacement within 3-years of draft....sometimes s*** happens. Just sayin..

I don’t think a Habs / Leafs series is anywhere near as lopsided for Leafs as many are predicting....a healthy Price should make a significant difference.
