Around the League 2019-2023 Edition

They can definitely beat Vegas and the Habs. Maybe the Avs.

Not sure I see anyone beating Tampa. But I guess Columbus did it in 4.

If they can shut down their PP, I don't mind their odds at 5 on 5. But yes, that's a lot to ask. Still not huge underdogs IMO. And if they get out of that series I think they may be favorites in the finals.

yup. but...he would have been more useful than Foligno and didn't cost a first round pick.
no fucking doubt.

so, like, what is the train of thought going forward with Foligno?
do you think the organization wants to keep him if the price is right? I can’t imagine that Kyle would have made that trade without having some sort of plan going forward to have him in the team for at least next season.

The Habs have always played the Islanders tough. Of course that was when we had Julien going up against Trotz.

The team to beat imo is still Tampa.

I think it was a pure rental. the justification was that they thought this team was a contender.

Bruins' team structure is obviously completely flawed.

Marchand 6gms, 9pts (4pp)
Pastrnak 6gms, 9pts (4pp)
Bergeron 6gms, 5pts (2pp)
McAvoy 6gms, 7pts (3pp)

Krejci 6gms, 7pts (5pp, 1en)
Smith 5gms, 2pts
Reilly 6gms, 2pts (1pp, 1en)
Hall 6gms, 2pts (1pp, 1en)

Kuhlman 3gms, 1pts
Coyle 6gms, 1pts
Grzlecyk 6gms, 1pts
Ritchie 6gms, 1pts

no depth.

Blow it up!

Is it me or is 11 drafted players out of 20 like fukin remarkable?
outside of the “no brainer draft picks” on the Leafs (matthews, marner,Reilly & willie), my count of the 34 Leafs available for the playoffs (let alone 20 islander that played in the boston series), we have 6 players we drafted? (Robertson, engvall, dermott, brooks, sandin, wool)
