Rumours, Innuendos and Flat out B.S.: 2021-22 Edition

You're acting like they replaced their goaltending with sieves. Hamilton will hurt but I don't see what you're seeing. Maybe because I watched them played.

Toffoli, Anderson say hello

TT had his genie in a bottle year beating up on the Nucks and other weaklings in a revamped division

He wont score at a 45 goal pace this year just like Domi was never a 70+ point player moving forward

JA was going to score some goals anywhere he got traded to , he barely played the year before and needed a change

The key this year is how much more do we get out Nick and CC ???

More importantly if the 2C + 3C can score more than 10G combined...

Dvorak on a putrid Yotes team averages 17G per season, while providing similar defensive game to Danault and is a top end bumper player on the PP - something the Habs have lacked in forever.

So your question of whether Dvorak moves the needle? Absolutely!

BTW - Toffoli was signed to be a 25G player not 45, and Andy as was stated after the acquisition will net 20-25G. That’s all that should be expected of them anything else is found gold

You guess at everything and pretend its fact. You know that right?

It reminds me of the scene in Moneyball where the head scout is bent out of shape about analytics.

The Toffoli and Anderson signings were also predicated on an assumption that Gallagher's game wouldn't drop off the face of the earth like it did in the playoffs (and that Anderson would stay healthy)

And I will take my chance it’s 13-15 or better depending on the ping pong balls

Good Miller put it best yesterday , “ I would take a chance on that pick “

With a regular schedule some teams who got in will not make the playoffs

Any team that loses a Norris caliber D , and their entire successful goalie tandem is a risk worth taking if we don’t match.
13-15 are best case scenario for us but i feel it's unlikely. Carolina is still pretty deep, with a good coach, i have them in the playoffs, unless their goalies completely shit the bed.

Go get him without a first rounder

Should be able to get 15 goals in a trade somewhere for a serviceable depth C

I think RP and Evans gives more than 10

If Fred and Raanta dont get their game back this year ....good luck

Deep is one thing but if your weakest link is mediocre goaltending your toast

Had to replace KK somehow no?

Absolutely had to make a move to get another C

I would of made a move for Zajak a serviceable C and kept the picks

Now your armed with 2 firsts in a great draft and who knows maybe 2 lottery picks to dangle for a difference maker

I can see both sides of the pro/anti Dvorak move
