I'm also curious what anyone expects them to say. They need to believe that this year is going to be different or else it wont. Some of yall need to either get on board or select your favourite length of rope now.
 
Yeah no lie, "well that loss was devastating and I think we all learned to just accept it and collect our pay".

That might not work as well.

Meh, after all these years of choking I'll be cheering for them while at the same time calling them bitches until they prove they aren't bitches. It's the only way I can hang in at this point. I feel it's pretty reasonable.

This is an entirely reasonable position. Meanwhile I'm going to sit back and laugh because mocking these bitch ass losers has its own charm.

Anyone want to bet what happens at greater quantity after this year? The leafs learning lessons or habsy gaining beautiful memories?

Bottling up old emotions is bad for your health. I've processed my feelings from last year and left them where they belong, last year.

I'll reserve my hatred for the seasons we start in which the team clearly doesn't have the ability to compete. I didn't spend my entire adult life waiting for this era of Leafs hockey (you know, the one where we actually had the elite talent that used to deep dick us?) to sit here and have a sour look on my face the whole fucking time.

Remember kids, apparently only the playoffs matter....unless the Leafs are anything less than top of the league dominant in the regular season, then we will later learn that the regular season mattered a whole lot.

Don't fall for the bullshit and enjoy watching the best era of Leafs hockey in 20 years.

1) There is no parade for winning a round or two. Leave it behind as a false narrative spun by idiots.
2) There is no such thing as "learning to win", lots of cup champions go from not winning....to winning the whole fucking thing.

We can and should question whether this group has the stuff to win the whole fucking thing, but let's not live under a dark cloud the whole fucking time we're arguing that point.
 
If you can't see the humor in their tremendous failures then you're doing it wrong! If you're unable to enjoy the most exciting leafs era in our lifetimes you're doing it wrong.

Already have beautiful memories. I wish you the same, it's euphorically cathartic. I laughed, I cried, it became a part of me.
