Leafs acquire Matt Murray

I've seen a few people on twitter but yeah, this is the most negative reaction I've seen to anything he's done.

I don't even think people would've been that upset if he wasn't 4.7 million.

Yeah count me in this category. At 3.1 I was happy with it. If the Leafs took assets from Ottawa and sent those assets to another team to retain another 25%, Murray comes for free and I'm pretty content with that. Murray at 2 years for 3.1 is about what I'd pay for him as a UFA.

But this.. I don't know what this is about.

This is what I would be saying if we got either 50% retention of a much better sweetener.

Glasses and his bean counter are smart so once again I will give him the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise on the money situation.

The next move may not be the right one but they have the cap side of things down to decimal on any given day
