Domi and Bunting might be a wash, and I’d take Bertuzzi over ROR any day. What, losing Holl, Schenn, and Kerf and adding younger guys like Holmberg is bad? Klingberg is better than he’s being given credit for and should be fun with this team.

The big thing when talking about the end of the year roster is that Bunting was pretty fucking useless at the end of the year and the playoffs, and Knies was already a big upgrade on him.

And also of course we can't really count Knies as part of the roster at the end of the year since his injury was a big reason we lost.

Not longterm but this year, yeah. That's a lot of cap space to potentially use on a guy who is cooked. They're not in a position to waste over 4m on nothing and get away with it imo. That money would be better spent elsewhere especially when the d already looks questionable. But... Maybe he turns it around and is a stud this year.
