I don’t know how this trade war ends. Trump won’t stop it until he feels like he has a big victory. But the stock market and economy will tank to put pressure on him to want to reverse. This is gonna be pretty fucked as it doesn’t look like Canada or Mexico will do shit to end this on their own.

Honestly, I think this is a misread. He won't stop until he can claim a big victory, which he is entirely comfortable creating out of whole cloth. We can't let his version of reality dictate how we respond to his bullshit. Punch him in the nose and he'll back down, but he'll find a way to save face and sell it as a great victory and mint a coin depicting his great victory and sell it to the rubes for 99 bucks a pop.
Fuck it and fuck him. Punch first, worry later.
