It wasnt that complicated and was actually kind of exciting, significantly better than Bill Daly doing a countdown from 14 with logo'd tiles in envelopes.

Because they're doing the draw like they normally would behind closed doors. This is why they've always done it first behind closed doors and revealed after.

How could you not understand it? They literally told us exactly what was happening.

That said... watching the actual lottery draw is as boring as I expected it would be. I suppose if the Habs were in the top 5 or even 10 it could have been more exciting.
