It was about a week ago I said he had been invisible in the playoffs, due to injury or whatever. That sure changed. Once Tkaczuk and Reinhart got noticeably healthier and rolling, there was no stopping Florida. They likely would have made much quicker work of the Leafs had those two been healthier.

The Oilers went to game 7 of the finals last year. The Leafs were golfing by the end of April.

I am merely highlighting the main difference between the two clubs vis-a-vis whether running it back is a sound decision or not. I would argue that the team that got to game 7 of the finals makes a stronger argument for running it back than the team that only made it to game 7 of round 1 does. The further away from the ultimate prize you get, the more you need to change.
Oilers cheated with Kane's LTIR and the NHL is investigsting. Shame on them. At least when Tampa and Las Vegas cheated, they won.

Of course they are only investigating the Canadian team. Vegas, Florida, Tampa were all absolved without any scrutiny.
