2025 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

Army can’t, Kyrou dictates which team he’s dealt to, complete NTC except for yr 8 when it becomes a 15 team NTC.

This would suggest IF HuGo are indeed after Kyrou, they’re fully aware he’s willing to waive for Habs, and they hold negotiation leverage over STL
Then why not trade him last week when Armstrong had more leverage?

I want to know why STL seems to want to get rid of a 27 yr old, 30G+ Kyrou if Seravalli is accurate?

I know STL ownership is a large consortium group, so is it $$, or what is it about the player?

This is why Dach will get another shot at 2C (as he should, still young, has been injured a lot)

He was actually decent without Laine last season

Laine is likely gonzo upon acquiring a 2nd line W or included as part of the deal .. wonder if the latter is part of the holdup as proposed for Kyrou?

not seeing it.... Laine has almost no value....so you're basically offering a mid first and two ok prospects for Kyrou and a 2nd

We would need to eat some of Laine's salary. The Blues are up against the cap. The Blues want good but cheap assets. Anyone from Laval not named Reinbacher or Fowler should be on the table, including Beck.

Yup… IF rumors are accurate, STL desperately wants out of Kyrou contract and have zero leverage due to players full NTC.

My offer at least doesn’t include the glass shrapnel when Army takes it up the beehive
