OT: The Toronto Blue Jays

September 1 and the Jays are in first place. First time since 2016.

So who do they call up today? I say Fisher and, if Clement goes on the IL, Clase.
 
IKF was a given. I think one of the AAA OF will get called up if wither Clement or Varsho need more time. Clement’s injury sounds like he needs time off tbh.

Tate is a bit of a surprise. But these guys are pretty fungible.
 
Fisher and Fluharty have both been killing in AAA i don't really get the tate callup. Especially since he can't handle LHH at all.

Ernie has played in both the last 2gms and started yesterday and had 2 hits. He's fine.
 
Bad News: August was our 2nd worst monthly record of the season.

Good News: it was still a 90-win pace, easily playoffs worthy.

Also good news: August was our best run differential month of the season.
 
Tate is a bewildering choice over Fisher/Fluharty and i guess they are looking for as many bench bats as possible that are gloves over sticks.
 
Really sucks that vladdy got injured right when he had heated up right back up to super elite level.

Gonna be hard to keep 1st place if vladdy can't get sorted soon.

Apparently Tate will only be here until Fisher/Flu are eligible to be back, but i hate IKF over Loperfido especially with Barger looking ass at the plate
