GDT: Canes v. Penguins 3/18 7:00

It’s them again. And we’ll see them again in Pittsburgh on Sunday.

I'm glad I missed last night. Apparently more than a few Canes did too. No morning skate today, we’ll see what the lineup looks like at RBAs 4:45 presser.

The Penguins opened their 5 game roadie in Raleigh last Tuesday and it ends here tonight. They’re 2-1-1, with a shootout loss to the Canes, a regulation loss in Vegas and wins over Utah and the Avs. Along the way, they picked up Geno Malkin from suspension, he returned in their 7-2 dismantling of the Avs on Tuesday, recording 2 goals and an assist. Still no word on Crosby’s return. He did skate before the Avs game and took part in PP drills but didn’t play.
