Around the League 2019-2026 Edition

I listen to Sirius radio quite a bit. The prevailing sentiment (total conjecture of course), about Larkin is that he isn’t coming to Canada, period.
the team I’ve heard most often about fit is minneasota.
and the 2nd term I’ve heard for good fit is Carolina. They have 12M in cap space with gostisbehery the only important UFA. not sure what their prospect pool is like but…

👻🧸 not UFA until 2027.. Nikishin RFA and Freddie the only notable FA business for Canes this summer

Toronto isn't canada silly.

I’d be surprised if Larkin nixed a trade to the team he grew up cheering for, where he’d get to team up with the guy that just captained him to a gold medal.

If anyone’s going to put the kibosh on that trade it’d be Yzerman not wanting to send him to a division rival.

I saw a good video where the guy was saying that if Larkin wanted to, he could fuck the Wings and join us. Simply hold out and say you only want to go to Toronto, which drastically reduces the price. I think he used Panarin and LA as the example of the last time it happened. Different player and contract circumstances obviously.

At the same time, they can simply say no and refuse, rather than trade him to a rival on the cheap.
