Having watched McDavid play against Dallas, YES, give me a McDavid over a Matthews any day of the week, month or year. Matthews/Marner is/are hopeless when it matters.

Nope. I've watched them play. Easily beatable if the effort is made. Seem most teams become a bunch of soft slouches when its crunch time. Too much money and too little compete.

Without the owners taking the risk there would be no NHL. There will always be players. Greed is common between the owners and the players. But I would agree that the owners are far worse in that regard.
