There is two things Tavares has to do to get a new deal. First have a big playoffs. Second take a hometown discount. If Tavares wants $7-8 mill stamkos deal he can go to Nashville. Marner and Knies have to be the priorities.

He's a good coach but he is overrated. Any coach that makes elite rush players dump and chase and makes it so they don't want to play for him can only be so good.
