I find kids/adults that just played /or involved in just Individual sports such as Tennis have a different mindset...it is good that your son played a team sport.. builds a different mindset for the better.. imo

I doubt that Gally and Struble are what we will be trading back.. Kyrou NTC is in play and if he is willing to waive to go to Montreal you have to listen..he has played centre, he finished tied for 5th in the league scoring 5 on 5 with 25..1 behind Cole.. I think if we do trade for him...

I understand that you don't want him as we need a 2nd line centre, but anytime that you can add a 30 goal scorer where you win the trade you do it. You can then bundle additional forwards to get the 2nd centre.. just my thoughts.. Kyrou/Bolduc/Demidov/Dach/Laine all fighting for 2nd line...

So did the goaltending, Look i am the first guy to take the side of the goaltender, the Oilers did not get it, the Panthers scored on the first shot last night after the Oilers had several good looks.. Skinner stops that and its go go.. instead it was oh oh here we go again..

That is why you need goaltending to be better, when the games get tight you cannot afford to have weak goals go in.. that 3rd goal was bad , he should of had 2 of the 3 when the panthers went up 3-0..

You are right, the team needed to be better in front of their goalie, having said that, Skinner needs to make the saves, look at the 3rd goal last night, (i believe it was the 3rd) where he gets the shot in his chest only to push the rebound out on the other side right to a Panther.. Skinner...

The Oilers playoff runs since the dynamic duo always comes down to goaltending. They need a big upgrade.

While I get the jest of your post and not that i disagree, it just happens to be one side of the coin, without the players you don't have a league. We have gone down this path before..

i would prefer one for one.. he is a left handed shot that can play the right side.. he is a solid stay home d-man..

Hague is much bigger and has more upside than Struble imo, i do the trade
