I'd take someone who doesn't sound somewhat disappointed when we score.
Cole was a Habs fan but I always liked him doing our games. It's not that hard.

Yeah, I don't want a Bowen or that Edwards clown for the Bruins. Full on homer not necessary. Just have a great voice and don't sound like a robot.

Most of us adored HabFan Bob Cole calling Leaf games when we were growing up. In recent years on HNIC, I've been fine with Chris Cuthbert, Paul Romanuk or even HabFan John Bartlett calling our games.
It's just the one guy who cheers for the opposition and sounds like someone shot his dog when the Leafs score that I don't like.
