The Canes close out the 4 game roadie against the last team they beat.

We know the Canes will face the Devils in the playoffs. A point tonight gets them home ice for the first round. But the losing streak has dropped them 4 points behind the Leafs for 2nd in the Conference. We should see Andersen in goal.

The Caps are treading water, 5-4-1 in their last 10. They‘ve only played twice since losing in Raleigh last week, beating the Blackhawks and losing to the Islanders, a loss the Caps website calls the most inconsequential loss in team history. They’ve also given up at least 3 goals in each of their last 8 games. There will be a pre-game ceremony tonight, hopefully before the game comes on the air. Logan Thompson was injured the last time the teams met. The team is calling it an upper body injury but aside from taking a Walker shot off the mask, no one knows how or when he was injured. He was expected to miss a couple of games but we’ll probably see Charlie Lindgren tonight.

ESPN+/Hulu for TV.

Ugh. Do we have to?
No, we do not... I recommend the NCAA Frozen Four game between Western Michigan and Denver on ESPN between 5-7:30p.. that should run a few minutes past and hopefully allow a clean switchover to Canes on ESPN+ for normal puck drop around 7:38p :) I was figuring our game would get started about 8:15 after all the #8 bizness, so I'd appreciate them getting all that out of the way pre-gametime.

My former company is based in Portage, a hop, skip and jump from Western’s campus. And I have a lot of co-workers, former and current, who are alumni. So I’ll root for them, until they play Boston University, my oldest is an alumnus.

My Tech boys didn't make the dance at all this year so I'm a neutral... If anything, I guess I'm tired of Denver winning so much so go Broncos.

I have family that lives in Portage so I know it well. My aunt was a pharmacist at Western for many many years.
