With Utah flipping a D for Peterka i wonder if a Dobson deal is built around 4th overall.

Yeah, trading a package of Orville Redenbacher + stuff for Dobson would be quite a way of salvaging that wasted high draft pick for the Habs.

Current rumor is a three way deal brewing with Montreal, NYI and Utah with 4th overall in play.
If that’s true I’m wondering if Montreal sends Matheson plus plus to get it done.
Utah owner Smith wants playoffs
Dobson wants 10m
Matheson is under 5 mil
NYI wants fourth overall
Question is does Matheson and 16 & 17 get that done?

If there is a three way deal for Dobson happening and the Isles dont walk away with a pick to get Hagens i dont see it happening.
Also, if not Dobson for the Mammoth i see them biggly bidding on Ekblad

Ekblad is the only thing resembling an impact D on the market.
Tons of teams are going to get silly.
Jackets, Sabres, Mammoth, Wings, maybe Leafs if they can get a good F for Rielly.
