With Mehta's agent in charge of the "search", Jersey snatching him before we can doesn't sound too likely.

He may choose Jersey over us with everything considered (ties to the region, previous work with the org, younger core group, etc) but it won't be because his agent was too slow in putting him in front of Pelley for a talk.
