The Shingrex vaccine (for shingles) also seems to have a bunch of other benefits ( lower rate of Alzheimers, Blood clots, etc) however some of that might be that people who get all the shots recommended by their doctor also practice protective healthcare in a bunch of other ways

I obviously defer to your multiple PHD's here, but my understanding is that hantavirus is and always has been transmissable between people, and it's just really inefficient at doing that so usually doesn't. Exposure to mouse shit is still 99.99% of cases.
