Habs 2026 Playoff thread

We have scored 18 goals in 8 games. Not good enough. As I said at the deadline we needed to add scoring. Everyone else around these parts said we needed to add toughness. In fact we matched Tampa (most been team in the league during the regular season) for toughness.

We got unexpected goals from secondary players who production wise exceeded all expections

Even modest production 5/5 from our guns are good
 
We were never winning the Cup this year regardless. Colorado is a near lock, followed by Carolina. Better to save your remaining bullets for this off-season. After this year, we're all in.

Hence, my point that the scorers are not scoring and that we need more scorers.

We could have gone for a long term solution but yes this off season is the time.
 
Of all the names floated this season, Robert Thomas really does fit the bill.
