OT World Cup

The thing about the current France side is the elite depth at forward. Their 6th choice forward is better than the best forward on about 35 teams at this WC. It’s absurd.

The rest of the team if good too, but they are not perfect. So they are potentially vulnerable at the back. They have to be considered favourites, but it’s an unbalanced team.
 
Spain might be the only team that can de-balance France....Spain will take possession from France, slow down the game, put France forwards to sleep and frustrate them.

And France will still win LOL
 
if England wins the World Cup, it portends the Leafs winning a Stanley before the Habs

The reverse is true if France wins the World Cup.

Sorry….but this is a stain on Messi’s legacy. For me, he’s not the GOAT….never was….he benefited from a well structured Barca system with Inesta-Xavi….Maradona and Pele were better….and let’s go further back with OG’s like Di Stefano and others
