I believe he gave her the run around until it was too late, when she gave him a date he said no for reasons.

Don't know what they could possibly be, maybe the answer is in the hours long ramble he allowed trump with zero pushback.

Fwiw I think her mediocre messaging, which shifted heavily a few times based on what the dem consultants insisted on was a much, much bigger factor than her not doing any specific podcast.

As for the Rogan thing itself, I don't think he's a reliable narrator here at all and I think any interview with him would have been a train wreck where Kamala would have been litigating against every stupid idea about the world he has.

Kamala tried to dictate conditions that were not acceptable to Joe. She wanted an hour interview, pre-screened questions and Joe had to fly to Washington for the interview. That’s idiotic. All JREs have the same format and setup, you want the audience you play by the rules. Kamala needed Rogan a lot more than Rogan needed Kamala.

I don’t necessarily like Joe Rogan, but this is a valid critique of her campaign and she have just gone on and played the game. He would not have hit her with hardball questions. He softballs everyone he soft bald Alex Jones. It would’ve been a chance for her to ramble and seem human. It was a dropped ball on the part of the Democratic Party and there’s no two ways to spin it so yeah, thank you for writing this because it further that narrative.

And if the Democrats are smart, they will go on these podcasts where the deplorable’s hang out and at least speak to them so that maybe one or two out of 1 million people change their minds. It’s not a waste of time talking to people.

And I’m not in the cult camel I was a fucking tool. Her campaign was poorly run. She lost to a fucking idiot because she said the same damn shit over and over again. It wasn’t racism it wasn’t misogyny. It was that she ran a shit campaign, and it was a shit candidate.
