GDT: Canes @ Winnipeg 10/17 3:30

I was watching one of the best days in NCAA college football history. 5 of the top 7 teams got beat.

I did DVR the game and watched later.

The glory of having 19 devices. I had multi-view on football up on the tv and on my iPad I had the hurricanes. On my phone I was watching soccer. What a glorious time to be alive 😂

BTW here’s Claude’s analysis of the multi-app streaming Millennium Problem:

  1. Instant Replay/Recent button trick: Press the Home button, then reopen the other app from the Home screen. Roku keeps recently used apps in memory on newer devices, so the second app often resumes quickly rather than fully reloading. It's still a few clicks, but faster than a cold start.
  2. Use a second device for one stream: The most seamless option. Run YouTube TV on the Roku and Prime Video on a phone, tablet, or a second TV/stick, and switch inputs or glance over as needed.
  3. Two inputs on the TV: If you have a second streaming device (Fire Stick, Apple TV, Chromecast, or even a game console), plug it into another HDMI port and flip between inputs with your TV remote. This is the closest to "channel flipping."
  4. YouTube TV's Multiview: If both games are on channels YouTube TV carries, its Multiview feature lets you watch up to four streams at once on one screen. It only works for certain sports events and only within YouTube TV, so it won't help if one game is Prime-exclusive.

I'm on my third round of Prednisone for this damn sciatica. The pain is less severe right now, but I'm afraid of what it's going to be like when this round of steroids is done.
Inversion table. That was the only thing that fixed mine. The chiropractor helped for a few days, but that's just temporary. Hanging several minutes a day cured mine when nothing else would. I bought the table off Craigslist years ago used it for a few months then sold it. Best $50 I ever spent.

It fixed it? Not just a temporary relief?

My wife and mother in law have been telling me about my brother in law having one and that he swears by it. I may have to ask him to borrow it.

One more thing…

With the win last night, Brind’Amour became the winningest coach in franchise history. If the Canes win 16 of their next 39 games, he’ll pass Jon Cooper as the fastest to 400 wins.

Hate it for you!! Been there and remember it all too well. Keep strengthening your core…😩

If the Canes were trying to tempt Winnipeg with Kochetkov, Kochetkov did everything he could to stay in Raleigh. He has good skill but his brain undermines those skills.

Never underestimate a desperate front office's ability to convince themselves that they are the ones that can fix a player.
