2026-27 NHL Miscellaneous Thread

Good on James Reimer to find a way to stay in the game, I hope he does well...just not against Carolina He didn't set the world on fire here, but I liked his game and he seemed prepared whenever he saw action.

I was chatting with a Rangers fan co-worker about Spencer Martin. He said there is a guy on Facebook who posts about the Rangers and ever time he mentioned Martin he added (who stinks). So unless that person also covers Hartford, he saves himself some keystrokes.
 
Those Flams really woke and got their game going, especially at home. They've been climbing the standings like they mean it. Another win tonight against the Leafs.

Too bad Reimer failed to stop enough pucks. That kind of thing will get you waived in a hurry.

Seixeiro is a douchecanoe and a bad take factory. He just belches them out. I honestly can't remember the last time anyone clipped him saying something interesting.

As noted elsehwere, this guy is an irrelevant, talentless douchbag.

However, as someone who spends a lot of time with clients in Canada and who sold his company and now works for Canadians, I want to stress that this is not a common perspective of the people I know well from north of the border. They all know about my passion for hockey and our Hurricanes and acknowledge that while hockey many not be as big of a sport here as it is where they live, there is a thriving base of enthusiastic Canes fans here in the Triangle.
