It's the way they send it. I get some from the Liberals too but they dont use those emails to lie about what the opposition is doing in order to stoke fear
Where to begin...?
I don't think that Edmonton winters are "worse" than anywhere else in Canada. They are merely different. I lived in BC and spent most of the winter forgetting the concept of sunlight or a day without incessant rain. Seasonal Affective Disorder is a thing and it's a yuge thing...
The Cons are at it again, recycling MAGA fear-mongering about gas powered cars being banned by "radical Liberals". This one is courtesy of everyone's favorite self-loathing Jewish lesbian, Melissa Lantsman.
He and his wife reside in Edmonton and said wife just opened a hoity-toity cocktail bar downtown and a high-end interior furnishings boutique.
Besides which, the only way Oilers ownership and management can avoid seeing the torches and pitchforks crowd outside the arena is by offering McDavid...
My argument is that Marner's 100 points don't really change the regular season math for the Leafs. They will still safely make the playoffs even without Marner so the loss of his production is moot. And since he produces in the playoffs about as much as Joel Armia does, he won't be missed there...
For all the "run it back" folks. Time for a reality check.

Same in Montreal. An anglo Montrealer like Matheson, who is bilingual to boot, has no issues but francophone star players would rather have root canals done on every tooth in their heads than sign with the Habs. Only when they're basically washed up and just looking for a retirement contract do...
Which is why I am forever baffled by the Marner ball-lickers when they say that without Marner's regular season production the Leafs might miss the playoffs, as if they had no other good players.
The fact is that the Leafs, with or without Marner, can make the postseason just by falling out of...
Because in no other league are the biggest (or at least, the most important) markets, and the ones with the highest level of fan engagement located in Canada. In other sports, the richest teams are also the ones in the media hubs: NYC, LA, Boston, Chicago. In the NHL, Winnipeg is a "bigger"...
Winning in Toronto or Montreal may indeed be "more special" but it isn't more special than all those other things you mentioned, and when combined with winning it in a no tax jurisdiction? Yeah, I think pretty much all of them will "settle" for winning a Cup in a slightly "less special" place.
Pretty sure there's an unofficial statute of limitations on being a 1OA.
Taylor Hall isn't getting any extra money in 2025 for being the 1OA back in wheneverthefuckitwas.
I am merely highlighting the main difference between the two clubs vis-a-vis whether running it back is a sound decision or not. I would argue that the team that got to game 7 of the finals makes a stronger argument for running it back than the team that only made it to game 7 of round 1 does...
