Yeah. Big issue. Up until 2021 all new builds were granted permission to discharge groundwater to the sewers on a permanent basis. All of these deep parking structures are well below the water table and continuously and for the life of the building are dumping millions of cubic meters a day...
Permeable pavers run into a huge problem when used in Toronto. The problem is Toronto is built on top of a dense clay till ground moraine that is terrible at infiltrating water, so even if you have perfect permeable artificial surfaces covering every street, the water still can't percolate...
Please do your own research...that first episode was not bad...I heard that they messed up the blood and cheese sub-plot a bit, but seemed decent to me.
