12 Retirement Ceremony

Does anyone have any details on the time? The game time is 5pm. Fandump says pregame coverage starts at 3pm.

What time do you think we want to be there to see the ceremony etc.?

Are you asking what time you should be in line to secure one of the 6500 available Eric Staal Bobbleheads? I expect people will start lining up at the doors before Noon and if you are not in line by 2PM (1:30? 1?) you might not get a bobblehead.

If you want a bobblehead you can still get tickets to the reception and that comes with a guaranteed bobblehead ... along with some autographed pucks. Frankly, I've already got like five E Staal pucks as it is, so ... yeah. I'll see y'all around 3:30

yeah, at $350 per for the re$eption.....ugh

But when you think about it as 1-3 inside with food, drinks, and Canes... or 1-3 outside in the weather in line with Caniacs, that might just be worth it.

Hey guys, I’m in Ironwood, Mi in the UP. I collect the mini-banners of the retired Canes players. I’m not going to be able to make the game and was wondering if anyone would be interested in selling their #12 to me. Please let me know and I would appreciate it!

Has there ever been another scenario like the Staal brothers with the Hurricanes? For the past 20 years, this team has had at least one player from the same family playing for them. In any sport?

The Sutters had at least 1 brother in the league for 24 years. At various times a couple of them played together and the youngest brothers, twins Rich and Ron, played together for 6 years, 3 years each with the Flyers and Blues. A couple of them played for their brothers; Brent played for Darryl, Ron and Rich played for Brian and Darryl.

ON EDIT:
Yep, the Staal boys will have it by the end of Jordan's contract. Barring a terrible injury, that is.

Come on Jordan, just one more year!

I have an extra banner if you still need it. I grabbed you an extra. You don’t have to buy it though.
