I assume they found out the new rules yesterday or maybe this AM

I agree the new tickets may only be for games 5 and 7 which hopefully won't be played Also possible for game 2

Looks like they're rocking it up for Game 1 ... no firm numbers, but they do NOT have the ventilation equipment yet, so probably no more than 10,000. I got an email with a purchase window tomorrow afternoon. Let's do this, I reckon.

they are adding a bunch of big fans or something else ?
You can't control humidity at all if all you're using are forced air fans and unconditioned fresh air, so no ... something else. Probably some exchange units and I'd guess they're goosing up the CFMs on the existing equipment by installing bigger/stronger outflow fans. That kind of non-refrigerant HVAC equip is usually available without super long lead times. Portable/temporary industrial A/C units are a possibility as well, but they're hard to get and you'd need a fair few of them. Brady Trane keeps a few truck mounted units, but they're usually booked 6 months in advance ... he says from painful experience.

So Bridgestone Arena must have had the upgrade HVAC system, since they’ll have more butts in the seats?

Yup. They went all in as soon as the NHL came up with that plan. Tennessee has been more aggressive towards re-opening than NC and Nashville hasn't had any serious State restrictions for a while now. Their deal was getting the locals on board.

Our regular seats in 122 weren’t available for the first round of ticket sales so our rep assigned us to 101. My wife hates that side of the ice so we got in on the first STM sale last week and moved to 221. I’m assuming we’ll be able to get our regular seats back for the 2nd round.

The folks at Canes Country posted the TV schedule. As of right now, the Canes aren’t scheduled for any National games, so Bally will be carrying all the games.

I know it's a super longshot, but should anyone find themselves with a couple spares for Wednesday, we're looking and would be very grateful.

Its showing on CNBC on my TV guide. Are they blacking that out or will they be carrying the Bally feed?

I added 2 more near our 2 seats that are right behind our 2 regular seats in our regular section. Thst was at 2PM. There is ample supply in the lower sections, especially on the sides.

Fam is happy, we can all go to playoff games now instead of just 2 of us.

Unless I’m reading the TM site wrong there are general public tickets available for games 1 and 2. These are not inflated-price resale tickets. It’s all 100s and 200s. The upper level is sold out for both games.

Yes that is what I see too. If you want tickets to just one game there are some for sale now via Ticketmaster that are regular sales and not resales.

Hmm. My understanding is they go on sale to the general public tomorrow at noon. I'm looking here in my browser and only seeing super inflated ($140 for uppers) right now.
