Does anyone know if today's Prospect's Tournament game against Nashville Predators @ 2:00 p.m. will be broadcast on the Hurricane's website? I couldn't find any indications online and their chatbot referred me to their regular season broadcast schedule. No help.

Clips from that game confirm what I thought ... the new road uniforms do look better on TV than the old ones. The extra red on the shorts and socks makes the helmets work better.
 
Jim there's a link to today's game on the hurricanes.nhl.com home page. Canes 1 Preds 0 after 1. On the jerseys, not much contrast between the red and the black makes the front primary logo a bit of just a round blob on TV though, except on the closest of close-up shots. Overall it's good otherwise and might grow on me.
 
Thanks StormChaserBH. I ended up going to the old Occaneechi Speedway & Riverwalk in town to walk for exercise. I forgot that this. Weekend is Hog Days street festival. Lots of foot traffic and strollers along the Riverwalk. Pretty day for it.

Avramov had great numbers in Russian Juniors last season as well in a limited run of 8 games. At some point soon he will be getting limited playing time in the VHL and/or KHL and his numbers will likely crater. I have no idea who makes decisions for these kids on where they play and when.

The Wolves played the Rockford IceHogs in a preseason game today. The lineup was mostly composed of guys on AHL contracts; Trikozov, Badinka, Montgomery, Heimosalmi, Quapp and Khazheyev were the only prospects in the lineup. The game was abandoned with 12:53 left in the 2nd period due to a power failure in downtown Rockford that affected their rink.
