not all are suited to play in the Montreal fish bowl of BSI'm willing to bet that more players in the league would rather play in Buffalo than in Montreal.

True enough but the fact is that if you polled every player in the league with the question "live in Buffalo or live in Montreal", a solid majority will choose Buffalo and it has zero to do with how good or bad either team is on the ice.not all are suited to play in the Montreal fish bowl of BS

Probably 90% of Francophone players would say Buffalo too.
I'm ok with that although I would have liked to move Dvorak out with the price Centers have been going for.I believe that we will have a WHOLE LOTTA NOTHING to talk about with Montreal today.
Buffalo vs Montreal is a really easy choice for meTrue enough but the fact is that if you polled every player in the league with the question "live in Buffalo or live in Montreal", a solid majority will choose Buffalo and it has zero to do with how good or bad either team is on the ice.

We must remember that Sabres players don't actually live IN Buffalo proper, they live in very nice enclaves nearby. Harry Neale and Scotty Bowman both live in Western New York. But yeah, Buffalo itself and Niagara Falls NY are absolute hell holes.Buffalo vs Montreal is a really easy choice for me
Dvorak moves the needle, just not in the direction you want it to move. There were no needle moving centres to grab
I’m glad we didn’t make foolish trades….
But we should’ve traded a few expiring contracts. I understand that HuGo are juggling rebuild with keeping young core happy (Suzuki-Cole). By keeping some of their buddies (they are close with Dvorak), it’s HuGo’s way of keeping them happy without making foolish trades….cost him nothing
Suzuki publicly stated that he wanted management to keep everyone…that’s his reward…and he’s happier with that, rather than trading away his friends for other rewards/playersReward them by doing nothing? Hmm-kay.
I'm ok with the status quo, small reward for the players that have been busting their ass this season. I think we'll survive without that extra late 2nd round pick.I’m glad we didn’t make foolish trades….

Would you get Bills season tickets?Buffalo vs Montreal is a really easy choice for me
And debatable if they did. Probably but not by that much.Ottawa's the only team we're fighting with that did anything to try to improve.
