The team had no playoff experience as a group and thrust into the playoffs with no time to put it together , thats what I am saying .

Year 1 of COVID Suzuki and others had zero or limited experience of consistent yearly playoff attendance

Even now its nearly 4 years of no playoffs , just get there and gain experience .

Perry, Staal, Toffoli, Weber, Price all had significant playoff experience.. that’s just 20% of the roster

Let alone big stage appearances on Team Canada from very young ages

You're moving the posts. You said the team had no playoffs experience while it was in fact a veteran teams with multiple Cup winners. We're always talking about players, not a specific group as a whole. Roster change every year.

I get the notion of taking it down to the studs

However this is year 8 (not including the covid gift ) missing the playoffs

Bedard is all they have to show on their current roster thats a core player , thats terrible .

Never capitalized properly with the aging vets and not sold on many of their prospects .
