Well they traded 3 first round picks for Seth Jones.I get the notion of taking it down to the studs
However this is year 8 (not including the covid gift ) missing the playoffs
Bedard is all they have to show on their current roster thats a core player , thats terrible .
Never capitalized properly with the aging vets and not sold on many of their prospects .
a good trade if you hate the BlackhawksWell they traded 3 first round picks for Seth Jones.
So do we. I just don't want to give up assets for him.Exactly what they need
Ill adviced for Hawks but the return wasn't that great for Columbus either. Boqvist, placed on waivers, Jiricek, traded, and Sillinger.a good trade if you hate the Blackhawks
Who said SJ rebuild is a fuck up? They seem to be going in the right direction, albeit slowly.Neither team "won" that trade, but Columbus didn't lose as badly considering they're not stuck with that contract.
The Sabres rebuild keeps on fucking up. Picking Owen Powers 1st overall (I know someone who had Owen Powers further down his board beyond the consensus, but that's for another time in another thread) and in the last decade, any time they choose to take a forward in the top-10, they seemingly always take the same profile... 5'11 to 6'1, awesome in the AHL, can't hack it in the NHL.
Trading Eichel because they didn't want to let him get his surgery was astonishingly stupid as well.
Random thought: How, exactly, has San Jose's rebuild been a fuck-up? They're doing fantastic with their picks and guess what? They'll probably be shit next year too. They've gotten rid of most of their bad contracts and don't have much money locked up long-term.
Buffalo & Detroit are the models for messing up their rebuilds.

No they’re actually all saying that Grier has them on the right track. They’re mostly bashing Chicago and Buffalo. This:
The picture and headline is confusing, they are discussing doomed rebuilds and talking about those three teams but the panel agrees that SJ is on the right track for now and have a plan.Well, okay sure, but the headline is asking the question. I don't understand why they're including San Jose in the questioning. Even Chicago, I'm not sure why they're included.
It's a question that should be kept for Buffalo, Detroit, and possibly even Anaheim. What's worrying for Anaheim is how little improvement any of their young prospects have had.
Why not? He's a good defensemen, would replace Savard and open up a trade for Matheson. Age and contract length are good.
He is still a beast on a better team and makes moving MM easier at some pointWhy not? He's a good defensemen, would replace Savard and open up a trade for Matheson. Age and contract length are good.
I find that the majority of YouTube video headlines are exaggerations of the actual content in the video . . . but that's kind of the point. They're meant to drag you in.The picture and headline is confusing, they are discussing doomed rebuilds and talking about those three teams but the panel agrees that SJ is on the right track for now and have a plan.
