2025 NHL UFA/Trade Thread

My new infatuation is acquiring Blake Coleman to slot next to Suzuki / Caufield

I thought about that last month...already over it. I don't hate it...but too much of a chance he can't play on the top 2 lines. Perfect 3rd liner tho!
 
You know what's hard to believe?

Patrick Laine is 27 years old. When he suits up for his first game, he'll be the 23rd youngest player to play an NHL game for us this year.

I repeat: 22 players under the age of 27 have played at least one game for us this year.

How many are core? How many are under long term contracts. Just 93 and 32 to secure for this group.

This is a massive strategic advantage.

we are the youngest team in the NHL and still one of the best, gotta love it

Yup 93 will cost us big moola and I expect from loaded on 8 years

91 and 32 are manageable contracts

Most of our heavy lifting deals are locked in on team friendly deals
