IMO Yzerman is part of the problem, so this goes above his head. In a way, Larkin is not wrong to be frustrated. The rebuild has been bungled.

But Larkin is a nitwit too though, shortlisting 2 teams that kinda don’t need him. Maybe it’s deliberate to force Minnesota? Might be Brisson trying to play 4D chess? Dunno, but on the surface it looks dumb.

Stevie y doesn’t have that kind of leverage. They can’t make playoffs with Larkin let alone without. He is running out of road.

Yyzerman got 2 firsts and prime Callahan for MSL when he gave him a one team trade destination

He is not making a bad trade or get pushed around

If your not making the playoffs with or without Larkin , your not making it getting pennies on the dollar

He will let him rot

I am not letting anyone off the hook , all parties are too blame

Everyone is frustrated but handled poorly by the captain

These trade clauses are killing teams but some like Nashville dont hand them out like candy
