doesn't matter who is in our lineup, we never beat them. You serious? Look at the lineup
I'm more hyped about Hutson than ever though.Dodgy preseason. Potential logjam on D cleared up by injuries and some mediocre camps. Mailloux underwhelming. Reinbacher (even with injury) and Engstrom need time in Laval.
Thankfully Struble was decent.
It’s preseason. Other than Laine injury, it’s irrelevant and rarely a good basis to project.Dodgy preseason. Potential logjam on D cleared up by injuries and some mediocre camps. Mailloux underwhelming. Reinbacher (even with injury) and Engstrom need time in Laval.

They’re the ones who tried. The rest could care less. Understandably. Some guys were playing for jobs.
He's also a classic case of being a media creation who is nowhere near good enough to be a top-6 forward. Is Roy a classic case of assuming he made the team and not putting in the work?
We should find out pretty quickly within next 4-6 weeks as to how “Roy takes this demotion”…Is Roy a classic case of assuming he made the team and not putting in the work?
5th rounder , any NHL games is a bonusHe's also a classic case of being a media creation who is nowhere near good enough to be a top-6 forward.
Yes, but because he's French there is nothing balanced about the analysis. He had a few good games after getting a call-up due to injuries and all of a sudden he was going to be our top 6 forward of the future. He is, at best, a 4th liner in the NHL on any team with a decent roster. He will be jettisoned like RHP as soon as guys like Kapanen and Hage come into their own. That he got cut today should surprise no one and not just because he didn't play well during pre-season. He's a minor league player. He's going where he belongs.5th rounder , any NHL games is a bonus
